Jason Bednarz, a native Ann Arborite, began his serious piano studies as a teenager with Randy and Nancy Faber. After completing piano performance degrees at the University of Michigan and the State Conservatory of Music in Freiburg, Germany, he received a Master's degree in chamber music and accompanying from Rice University. Jason performed with the award-winning Felici Piano Trio from 1998-2001, touring extensively on the West coast and in Germany. The Trio also developed and delivered an integrated music curriculum for the Mono County, California, public school system. In 2001, Jason moved to Athens, Georgia, where he enjoyed five years as an accompanist and teacher at the University of Georgia. Jason and his family are delighted to be back in Ann Arbor and to be part of this vibrant music community.
