Jon Ophoff, winner of BMI's Pete Carpenter Fellowship, is an active composer, conductor, and pianist from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He earned his
Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Michigan School of Music where he studied Film Music Composition. Jon is currently the Technical
Director and Creative Assistant of the Faber Piano Institute and Dovetree Productions. He is also an assistant conductor of the First Presbyterian
Chancel Choir. Jon has served as accompanist of the University of Michigan Residential College Choir, and his musical direction credits include the
University of Michigan's Festival of New Works.
